Wow What A Night...

The reason why im talking about this night is because it was one of the best ive ever done, ever!

It was a school prom and the crowd were 16-17 year olds who were in year 11 leaving school.

The night started off a bit dry with me not starting till 8.15 (start time meant to be 7) but people

were slowly coming in and getting photos taken so it wasnt really a problem.

The girls looked great, the boys were dressed up and everyone was just having a great time together.

After most of the mixes and scratches i did i always had a few people coming up to me to shake my hand, they were really diggin me!!!

They partied on till 12am, dancing didnt stop all night, tunes of the night from:

Lil Wayne - Lollipop/ A Millie (was scared to play this as its so fresh but alot of them knew it and went crazy!)

oh man it was just a heavy night! This was one of those crowds who really apprecaited what the DJ is doing. Shout out to all the girls and guys who came down and said very kind words to me during the night and at the end.

DJ Ironik Interview with RWD Mag

DJ Ironik, known for big tunes such as 'So Nice' & his latest track which was released on Itunes on Monday 'Stay With Me.'

Now alot of people, DJ's, MC's etc are hating on Ironik, one of the main resons, i think, is becuase hes one of the very few UK grinders out there who has actually got signed. I say well done to the guy.

I've actually Deejayed with him before and he's a nice guy despite his live performance being just him talking over the real track, but of course the crowd were loving him!

But there is no question that Ironik has done the work and got where he deserves to be.

Pharrell and Chad are back! We have had to wait since 2003 and following up their previous album (Fly or Die) they have hit us with Seeing Sounds and belive me... it was well worth the wait. First single 'Everyone Nose' has been getting enough air play from the Hip Hop DJs and of course the CRS remix has been smashing it also!

The tracks which catch my attention are: 'Yeah You', 'Laugh About It'... ahh you know what all of the tracks are pure fire.

The album is set to be released on June 10th.

Lil Wayne - Comfortable

Produced by Kanye West and Featuring Babyface, 'Comfortable' is my favourite track from 'Tha Carter III' album. From the first second of the track where Kanye samples his own drums used in his track 'Gold Digger' i was feeling it! The production is on point with tight snares and the flow is of course on top from Lil Wayne with Babyface adding a nice soulfull element to the track... sounds good in the sunshine turned up loud, one for the ipod and the car!
